So today is Sunday the 12th and Valentines Day is on the 14th. Have you bought anything yet? Sadly to say, I haven't. It coming to a point in my life that I do not know what my children want for any occasion. Christmas, Valentines Day, Birthdays and so on. My 2 oldest daughters (will be 12 and will be 10) are the culprits. They either want items that are outrageously pricey or they inform me that they "just don't know". My 2 younger children (7 year old girl and a will be 4 year old son) are still young and will pretty much take anything we get them even if it's a stick out of the front yard! I badger, beg, plea them to just tell me something they want, but it falls on death ears.
So my question is: What do you usually buy your kiddo's for Valentines Day?
Card and a Chocolate
Plush and candy
Or do you just throw a little gift bag together with different items in it?
I am really not sure what I will be getting my children this year, but I know one thing they will get: BIG HUGS and KISSES from their MOMMA!!!!
Happy Valentines Day to everyone.
On my commute taking the kids to school this morning, I turn on the radio. Facebook, Twitter and something about potentail employers asking for passwords. What??? IMO since when does your social networking life affect what kind of worker you are?? Ok, ok, I can see your point: some people maybe, but aren't we always told to not judge a book by its cover? So why judge a person by their social networking comments or pictures.
I am not sure I agree with employers being allowed to discriminate against someone for not giving up their passwords for their social networking life. Ponder this: Why do employers need OUR PASSWORDS? They can see all the PUBLIC info by visiting our pages (if not set to private) so why the passwords. I would personally never give my passwords up to anyone-- that is like handing over your social security number to a crook. Whats your view??? Any concerns/comments on this?
When making this blog I thought I would try to blog everyday about a craft of some sort. Well, apparently that wasn't the case. I seem to never find the time to actually sit down and craft something awesome to show the world, so I am changing my views.
Today is a new day (and a new year) and I understand that I will not be able to blog about a craft everyday--so......... I will be blogging about crafts, current events, daily living and other things as the days go by. I hope you will continue reading and checking my blog daily to see what will be next. I will post ideas, tags to other bloggers and so on..
Thank you all for understanding and hopefully you will enjoy my humor of my life.
Happy Mothers Day to all the mommies out there! Hope you all have a great day. Celebrate yourself and all the accomplishments you have made in your life. Being a Mother to me means, patients, caring, hopeful, involvement and respect.
